Sprinkler System Warranty Information

Contractor's work ("the work") is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship under normal use for which it was intended for a period of one (1) year from the substantial completion of the work. Coverage under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective work at the contractor's option. This warranty is VOID if the customer intentionally or negligently causes or allows any damage, abuse, misuse, neglect to the work. This warranty is void unless customer has paid all charges within thirty (30) days of the date of the final invoice for the work. Warranty claims must be made in writing to the contractor within forty-eight (48) hours of discovery. Only emergency claims will be taken by telephone; but must be subsequently confirmed in writing within forty-eight (48) hours. Customers failure to provide notice, access or a reasonable opportunity to contractor to evaluate and cure defect shall constitute a waiver of customers rights under this warranty and a waiver of right if any to recover attorneys fees and costs in any legal action in which customer seeks compensation under this warranty contractor shall have the right to cure any defect within fifteen (15) days of receipt of written notice of the defect. Contractor is the sole warrantor of any work performed by the contractor. This warranty is not transferable to the future owners of the property. There are no other warranties including implied warranty of the merchant-ability or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, which extended beyond the description of the face hereof. No warranty on systems with a gate valve shut off's. Orion Maintenance & Installation is not responsible for any buried cables not clearly marked.
